AI Workflows should start with the product not the prompt

Manchester, August 2026 - Voxelo has been profiled in The Interline's AI Report, the fashion and footwear industry's leading publication on creative technology, with a feature and interview running pages 221-227.

The Interline is the preeminent voice on creative technology in fashion and footwear, a corner of the industry that has moved fast on AI in pursuit of efficiency and brand distinctiveness. Voxelo's inclusion in its AI Report puts the company alongside the platforms and technologists shaping how the sector builds and sells product content.

For Voxelo, the feature was a chance to push a different question into the conversation.

Not which model is best, but whether the inputs going into any model can be trusted at all.

Why it matters

Most AI pilots in retail don't stall because the model underperforms. They stall because AI is being layered onto content that was never built to support it, flat 2D images, fragmented assets, product records that were never a faithful capture of the item in the first place. Weak inputs produce weak outputs, just with better marketing around them.

Voxelo's position is that the real unlock for AI adoption in product content isn't another model release. It's trust in the inputs feeding it. That's the thinking behind capturing a digital twin from a short video as the starting point for everything downstream, product images, lifestyle imagery, interactive 3D and AR, all traceable back to one faithful capture.

From the founder

"This wasn't just a nice mention, it mattered to us. We wanted the industry talking about trust, not just speed. Clever AI on top of a flat, fragmented product photo is still a flat, fragmented product photo, just processed. Get the input right, capture a proper digital twin, and everything you build on it, images, 3D, AR, actually holds up. Huge thanks to Ben Hanson and Lydia Mageean for having us in such good company." Ben McKay, Founder, COO & Co-Founder, Voxelo.

The Voxelo profile and interview run in the closing pages of the report, 221-227, alongside a cross-section of the fashion and footwear industry's creative technologists. It's a worthwhile read for anyone weighing up where AI genuinely earns its place in product content, and where it's simply dressing up the same old problem.
