Manchester, May 2026 - Voxelo has been selected as one of 10 startups for the Innovation Village at Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags, one of the world's largest retail events for footwear and bags.

The event runs 13-16 June in Riva del Garda, Italy, bringing together more than 12,000 retail professionals from 100 countries. The Innovation Village is the event's dedicated showcase for the technology and platforms shaping the future of footwear and accessories retail.

For Voxelo, it is the ideal stage. Footwear and bags is one of the company's four priority verticals, and the category where the UG3D® workflow has been built to shine.

What we're bringing to Riva

Voxelo's proprietary UG3D® (User Generated 3D) Gaussian Splatting technology turns a short product video, or a series of images, into a production-ready 3D digital twin. From that single capture, brands get everything they need to merchandise a product online:

  • Photoreal 3D for product detail pages

  • AR for try-before-you-buy and "see it in your space"

  • AI-generated product and lifestyle imagery

  • Asset bundles for marketplaces, social and ads

All from a capture process that takes around three minutes per product. Brands can upload in bulk and have assets back in two hours, not two weeks.

It is a step change for an industry where product content has long been one of the slowest, most expensive parts of getting a SKU live online.

Why it matters

Selling online is hard, and the bar keeps rising. Buyers expect to be able to see, spin and place products before they commit. 3D and AR are quickly moving from "nice to have" to a core part of the conversion stack, particularly in footwear and bags where fit, finish and material detail are everything.
